Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez released from prison after 2022 shooting

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was released from prison following a 2022 shooting, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation confirmed on Sunday. Velasquez was in prison for attempted murder of a man charged with molesting Velasquez’s son.
